When I first got one one these back in August, thought it was the best Nokia ever. However as of writing this comment, I’ve just received my 4th replacement E71 under warranty. The previous 3 have died completely, they all got extremely hot, and one had to pull the battery out to stop the things burning up. I’ve had Nokia phones in he past and all have perfectly fine, plus had have an iPhone for over a year and that’s been totally reliable.
Yeh T9 can be disabled. After all this has a full QWERTY keyboard, so no need for T9 at all.
i have this phone its awesome even though im not a business man its still really practical i use it for things like exam finals and auditions comes in real handy

according to the tech specs on the nokia site, yes it does record at this resolution
is there a plan you have to buy to text? or can you just use the same original texting plan.
You use what ever texting plan you already have and T mobile right this minute just came out with a new plan with out no contract its unlimited calling and day and night for costumers who have been with t mobile since 2 years or more, and u dont sign an contract. .
i just baught the E71 and i can send text messages but after awhile it says i have to much data and i need to delete somebut i have nothing on the phone like i said its brand new :S someone please help me out here id gratly apreciate it

i have a blackberry 8700c and had the 8700g.they worked with my go phone att card. but the internet did not work. it says data connection refused. i would not mind that, but i cant get picture mail or email.
will the phone do the internet with my prepaid att card? please let me know.

this is better than a blackberry and iphones?
iphones are a rip i thought a way of gettting the same thing easier , just get an ipod touch and a cheap camera phone! cheaper and u can make vids then
