Brighthand does reviews and news on smartphones of all kinds, so Palm sent us a pre-release device. Antoine’s full review of the Treo Pro will be out this week.

The box looks like the iphone box..same way it opens too. As soon as you open it you see the phone. Nice phone though!

From what I’ve read, it’s supposed to be unlocked, and not go to a specific carrier.
We’ll see though. $550 is a bit much, but I’m still waiting for it…

its an unlocked GSM phone. u can use it with any GSm network like AT&T, Fidos, T-moblie and a lot more

No. They are loaner devices.
Palm sent out the devices, but wouldn’t allow anyone to publish a review until a certain date. We could, however, do “unboxing” videos. If we turned the device on, it’s a review.

e71 is way better…hes using it to record the video for crying out loud
my friend used to have the palm pro and he returned it, but i got to use it quite a bit. and one thing i couldn’t get over is that the colors on the phone seem to be slightly off. the phone’s screen doesn’t display things very brightly or sharply, and the color tint seems to be just slightly off. and there’s no setting where u can adjust colors, so you just have to live with it. for me, this is something that would hold me back from getting one myself.
